Definitely ready to get on with it. Whether he wants out or not, he's getting evicted on Wednesday. My mom can only come out for a few days (Wed. to Sun.), and the doctor won't let it go more than a week late anyway, so we figured the due date plus a day wasn't unreasonable for an induction.

We did have a false alarm this morning, but at least now the hospital has all our paperwork. I'll be very surprised if anything else happens in the next day or two; things seem pretty quiet in there. I'm hoping we'll have as easy a time of it as NB has had, in the next couple of weeks.

It's really weird to know that after 16 years, it isn't going to be just me & Sean anymore. I'm sure in a few weeks, it'll be even weirder to know it was just us for that long :)

We'll be praying for you here! You're in for the most wonderful experience of your life, I promise you that.

And I am thankful that I had my first child now rather than when I was in my 20s. I'll make a far better Dad today, due in no small part to people like GB I've met online and many good religious people I've come to know in "real" life in recent years.

Anyhow I'm sure it will all go smoothly -- prepare to be amazed by aspects of your spirit that you didn't know existed!

There's not too many places in my lefty college town that takes Memorial Day with any sense of gravitas or even token remembrance of those who have sacrifice everything to protect this experiment in Liberty called America.

Or, as it was FAR better said:
