It is pre-existent and omnipresent in the surrounding ether. All you need is the appropriate "apparatus" (a sufficiently complex brain) to receive contents of this ethereal reservoir.

The caveat is, were this factual, it could render AI entirely practical. Build the right apparatus, which sufficiently mimics the human brain, and this artificial brain will proceed to access consciousness and thoughts from the same etheric source we do. People may not need to build an entire "mind" from scratch, to get their homonculus.

Perhaps we'd better re-think Bion's assertion?

2. Gender of God: God is of course bisexual as well as asexual. You can't create a man unless you know everything about him, and then you would be him. The same goes as for women, or a rock for that matter. So technically, God could be accurately be called "It," but nobody does that because it sounds creepy.

Now, His traditional relationship with people has been perceived as paternal, but you could just as well call God maternal, or even liken the relationship similar to a non-gendered thing like a thunder-storm, if you're mind is bent that way. The relationship is unique to each God-individual dyad. We stand very much individually before God, and we co-create our relationship with Her.

Well there it is, the two cents worth.

Regards, Stephen Graybeard

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8580258.post-87561363863526012442017-09-27T14:38:39.335-07:002017-09-27T14:38:39.335-07:00The sad truth is, a lot of Catholic schools today ...The sad truth is, a lot of Catholic schools today are almost anything but. McCain had a post a while back featuring some lesbian feminist sjw who credited teachers at her Catholic high school somewhere in the Miami for actively encouraging her down that particular path. We ruled out the option of Catholic schooling for that reason - it's one thing to tell your kids their teachers are wrong, it's another thing to tell them that their teachers with the support of the church are full of crap.juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15975754287030568726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8580258.post-44109356578240347132017-09-27T12:14:05.771-07:002017-09-27T12:14:05.771-07:00The apparatus for thinking, the capacity to have t...The apparatus for thinking, the capacity to have thoughts "has to be called into existence to cope with thoughts." Thoughts exist prior to their realization. Thinking, the capacity to think the thoughts which already exist, develops through another mind providing alpha-function -- through the "container" role of maternal reverie.

There is something analogous to this which happens within the context of spiritual re-birth, as well.juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15975754287030568726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8580258.post-47430861106885021362017-09-27T12:07:26.783-07:002017-09-27T12:07:26.783-07:00I got it when the price suddenly dropped from $239...I got it when the price suddenly dropped from $239 to $167. Yes, still too expensive, but I actually have almost no clothes for cold weather, and I'll use it most every morning for at least four months out of the year. Plus it's a priceless conversation piece. I have a few high-quality items that give me great pleasure, including my fountain pen, my stereo, a leather jacket, and now this.Gagdad Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00911613613759942690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8580258.post-66563635946800496062017-09-27T11:48:12.274-07:002017-09-27T11:48:12.274-07:00Price point must account for the Dude premium.Price point must account for the Dude premium.tedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07354048695798015131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8580258.post-46393064680807690862017-09-27T11:46:13.909-07:002017-09-27T11:46:13.909-07:00I really like the sweater, but a tad pricey for my...I really like the sweater, but a tad pricey for my taste.tedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07354048695798015131noreply@blogger.com
