If you extend out the "logic" of most "philosophy" since Descartes it seems to land one exactly where Nietzsche did.

Coming from an agnostic upbringing and "deconstructionist/pomo" college education (I majored in music so thankfully I missed out on a lot of the nonsense that my English major roommates got bombarded with. In music you're pretty much either good or not...nothing really to deconstruct. Besides, those of us hip to the overtone series and it's relation to music, perhaps like those in the related field of mathematics, are closet Platonists)

ANYWAY, it's a strange position to be in. I never went in for the more ridiculous aspects of the pomo/pc misophy. But I have never been able to inoculate myself entirely--much to my chagrin. Hence my motto being..."I believe, help my unbelief"

I've been lurking on this blog for months now. He doesn't realize that he is replacing God with himself and that due his lack of objective self awareness, the unintended consequences of his vision upon the world will follow along the lines of his darkened vision getting "progressively" more barbaric as the new god tries to change the world to fit his image and likeness while rejecting the only entity capable of saving him from his own degenerate self.

And speaking of "progressive", those of you with "Progressive" Insurance, do an internet search with the names Peter Lewis and George Soros and see what you come up with.
